Bad princess
True tales from behind the tiara:
by kris waldherr

Bad princess is a collection of true stories from real princesses. There are stories from medieval times to modern day. There is a story about a countess  named Elizabeth Bathory who murdered hundreds of girls because she thought that bathing in blood would preserve her beauty in. It also has a few stories about dollar princesses, rich american girls that married into royalty around the turn of the century. A recurring theme is that all the princesses don't fit the fairy tale role. I really liked this book because the stories were real.
